Just a fitting option for a weekend getaway in Chagford with great value for the money. The staff was really helpful, especially the bartender who gave us great hiking tips for Dartmoor National Park. Bring your own extra pillows if you're picky about comfort.

The rooms could really use some attention with all that tired decor!!! Parking seemed limited during peak times, making it rather frustrating!!!

Had a blast with friends! We enjoyed Open Mic Night and tasting some Devon cider. Our room was very clean and spacious. The staff was super friendly, and the food? Amazing! I mean, the beef and ale pie was to die for. Can't wait to come back!
Only downside was that we had to leave! We didn’t get enough time to enjoy the amazing menu earlier in our trip.

Super comfy stay!
Had a lovely one night here with my partner. The staff are super friendly and answered all our questions about local stuff. Dinner was a highlight – the pies are seriously good! The only bummer was the church bell chiming every hour. it can be a bit disruptive if you’re a light sleeper.

My stay in the Superior Double Room was really nice. The room felt homey and cozy, with a good size bathroom. Plus, there were thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, and biscuits. The decor was unique and charming, making it a comfy spot to relax after a long day. Just a heads up—bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise. the church clock can be a bit loud at night!
